I was wondering if you make a land claim and have to leave for a while like maybe a day max since you can't add points to a land claim before the initial 8 hours are up how do i protect my claim from potential robbery?

I was really hoping that if i were to stay online and near my claim it would activate without points but i can't seem to find much info on it and i would like to not lose whatever work i've put into making a home.

Could you tell me how? when i press refill it tells me my claim is too young to be refilled.

You must wait 8 hour period and visit before claim will do anything. There is nothing you can do before this 8 hour.

A leanto provides some protection until then, but only for two containers. Until your claim is up, log out with your most valuables in your inventory and the rest in the leanto.

You can fill the claim manually with LP but it still won't do anything until the 8 hour cooldown is up. As long as the claim bond is in your inventory, whenever you get LP it'll also transfer to your claim. This is the best since if you get 500lp then 500 points goes into the claim instead of having to manually fill it.

Just leave some curious in your study window which will finish right after the 8 hour period is over. The LP from those curios will go straight to the claim so you don't have to be there to fill it yourself.

Also, in case you missed it, you can put a claim bond in your study window to save an inventory slot.
