Thanks Kitsune for going through and updating ~150 item pages that were missing information. And thank you very much for adding the proper gild information to each of the gilding objects.

a list of all gilding objects can now be found on the http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Gilding page and will be automatically updated so long as new gilds are properly entered into the infobox.

nearly all items have been added and updated, with the exception of various pieces of furniture. We're getting close to having all basic item and object information up to snuff. soon all that's going to be left to work on are documenting game mechanics more thoroughly and other game concepts and activities.

Here's how to get perfect transparent item files:

go to this link: http://www.havenandhearth.com/mt/r/gfx/invobjs/hedgehog
replace "hedgehog" with the name of whatever item you want.
Sometimes it's not readily apparent however.
for example, wooden shovel is called shovel-w: http://www.havenandhearth.com/mt/r/gfx/invobjs/shovel-w

if you can't figure out the item's name immediately, romovs has a listing of all item names:
https://github.com/romovs/amber/blob/ma ... properties
he keeps it pretty up to date, so you should be able to find any item you need there, or at least what format to use

Cheers and thanks for working on the wiki

In other news, I decided to remove the ugly hurt FEP bar from the hafen infobox because It doesnt seem like we're ever going to get that mechanic back, thank god.

Alright, I created a new FEP table for baked goods. It functions identially to the big FEP table. So long as the item is in Category:Baked Goods, it'll be on that list.

I wish i knew more about the foetus, but alas I do not. My best guess on obtaining a foetus is slaughtering a pregnant animal. That's a little morbid though...

Thanks for going through and fixing everything. help is always appreciated

Hey folks, time for another episode of the...
Wiki Report

A big thanks to KitsuneG for fixing and updating basically every page with wholesome, clean, free-range Information.

some highlights of his work inlcude:
  • Updating All gilding information (a cool table of all Gilding Objects can be found Here, and all Gildable Equipment Here)
  • Updating all Armor information (Found Here)
  • Updating all metal craftable objects with real Quality formulas (if you have a Q formula question, ask here; we'll be able to help you and update the wiki)
  • Countless hundred other small fixes, corrections, verifications, updates, and tweaks

There are of course countless other wiki warriors who we owe our gratitude.
To list them all here would take too long, but those who help know who they are
So again: Thank you all for your contributions, no matter how small.

'Til next time,
Cheers,
Ricky

There is a Cabochon gem. I noticed it was not on the list.

Edit: Evidently the first cabochon I had did not list the gem type, as cabochon is a size. My mistake on thinking it was a gem.

I created an "Error States" page that can hopefully fulfill the role as a tech support guide and guide for what to do when certain errors come up. It should hopefully be helpful to new players and vets alike. Plans are to add error messages in the game as well as how to fix some of the more common tech issues (installation errors, common crashes, and log in problems). Feedback is welcome. I'll mainly be focusing on working some of the more common tech support issues in or other things I see come up on the forum.

I don't play a lot right now, so if anyone wants to help add things, feel free. If the whole wiki editor thing is a bit intimidating, just post them here and I'll work on it from that. Try to include the message, the cause, and how to fix. Yes, some are pretty obvious, but I'd like to document these because I'm Captain Ob(li)vious and sometimes people miss those things.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
