How to plant a Moundtree?

I found some mound beans while digging, so I plant potted them up and done the usual bis, but I can't actually plant them anywhere on land or in a cave. Where do they go?

Did you try those moss-covered or whatever biomes in caves?

Ah yeah that's it, cheers! Never realised the mossy parts actually counted as different ground.

I used to plant them in regular cave tile

maybe the new planting update confused OP

now you can right-click planter's pot and choose exactly how to position
