Do oysters have the same chance to contain pearls as river mussels?

For what i can tell from long Experience Oysters chance on Having a Pearl is much much lower then from a Riverpearlmussle, feelingwise prob about only 1/5 the Chance from Oysters.
Though this may Eventually not be a % difference, but because of the Global Pools.
There is a Maximum amount of Oyster Pearl, or River Pearl that can be found per Day or so, and since Oytsers are Cracked much more on the passby compared to Rivermussles wich you need to collect and boild i would assume the Global Pool on Oytsers is moslty much more Farmed empty then the Rivermussle ones.
Anyway if you want to specifically farm up some Pearls Rivermussles are your target.

Global pool no longer exists, it is now local pools instead. You're only competing with your neighbours for these so to speak, not all the playerbase.

The general concept still probably applies though. Oysters are cracked in much lower volumes, but the barrier to "entry" is zero, so everyone in your local area is probably doing it more or less consistently.
