Is brawling still a skill?

I gave unarmed combat but the only thing I unlocked was rage. Is this a new update? I have no idea how to combat in the first place but it's making it difficult hunting foxes and I don't even have many skills to use... also hate the fact I have to remind the shoot button everytime I move away to run from an animal

Nope, no "brawling" skill. That was a legacy thing. You need at least 20 ua for you to square up against a fox without cheesing.

thanks ! , yeah ive been lucky i have this small sliver ive been using and just carrying boats back and forth and eventually killing them
