how long apart should I plant crop batches?

Many times I saw on forum said that you should plant crops 20 min apart to get different qualities
but on wiki https://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Farming there are two other different values:
2 hours:

Each batch of a crop which is planted in the same area (~2 minimaps), time (~2 hours), and of the same type (carrots, peas, barley, etc), will be given the same random quality modification uniformly, and planted tiles of that batch will thus all have their quality affected in the same way.

and
5 hours:

Planting in three phases, at least 5 hours apart will give you three chances to score the +5.

Does anybody know for sure which one is right?

Mechanic Clarifications

Each batch of a crop which is planted in the same area (roughly two minimaps), time (roughly five hours), and of the same type(carrots, peas, barley, &c), will be given the same random quality modification uniformly, and planted tiles of that batch will thus all have their qualities affected in the same way. This was intended to reduce what we perceived as the simple hassle of having to inspect each seed stack individually, and then perform the rather boring operation of simply selecting the best one. If you wish to maintain different crop "strains" -- presumably to have more samples with different random seeds to select from when replanting -- you may do that by planting several different fields at distances in time or space. We are not entirely sure how farming and potential crop selection should ideally work to be the most fun and engaging. Feel free to discuss.

To my knowledge, the distance/timing component of this mechanic has not been changed since.

I think if you're worried about time it's easiest to do the distance mechanic. Each minimap is 100 tiles across, so that's roughly 3 Vbanners. Shouldn't be super crazy to make a farming annex 6 Vbanners away if you're hardon about pushing crop Q. Most players settle with keeping last harvest's crop available to replant if they lost Q and call it good. But hey if Q hunting is your think power to you!

I'm curious about the new greenhouses though. Because they're in a housing dimension, would they each count as a unique roll?
