Upgrade subscription?

Okay so i have a bronze sub until like 4 days into the new world (was testing some stuff, ain't buying silver for that). But when the world is actively developed i usually buy silver to get a hat like every second update or something.
What will happen if i buy silver now? Will i miss out on the new world update hat for silver?

Silver subscription gets added in front of the Bronze subscription, so you get the X days of silver sub you paid for, then remaining 4 days of bronze sub.

This works with all three tiers of sub, meaning you can have, for example:
30 days of gold, 90 days of silver, 360 days of bronze, in sequence.
