Not Fishing. I Click, nothing happens (Kami Client bug)

Hi everyone. Got my fishingpole, fishline, hook, bait, jumping fish. I Stand in water, press a -> i (or just click Fish action) and nothing happens. NO EROR MESSAGE =( help pls.

I'm using Kami client. I tried vanilla one and it works like it should.

The thought of Kami client being broken crossed my mind but I dismissed it as "such a big functionality would for sure be tested by now" guess I was wrong. Or maybe it's just broken on my machine only for some reason

It would be nice to somehow fix the issue though. It would be a hustle to switch clients just for fishing

Yeah. Got a boat from my neighbour and tested. Same thing (not working) on Kami

Yes it doesnt work on this client after a recent patch. You can check out the Ender client but I remember people also said something with fishing was broken too, I could be wrong though.

I also had to re-log into the default one and that was annoying because it didnt have a grid display map mode and I heard fishes are tied to grids. I made a screenshot of the nearby grid map but later I just stopped caring and was checking random jumping fishes


Also, you can grind toad-flaxes for strings or find a lot of catails and make multiple fishing nets, if you place them well, in a few days you gonna have multiple stockpiles.

I found just 1 fishing bug mention on Kami client post from 03.21 Lets hope they will fix it soon. You absolutely can get fish without fishing, for me it's just not the fish itself important but the fishing process

I also encountered quite a few complaints about this fishing error. It seems this is a fairly common error. Hope it gets fixed soon!
