What's the rough stone q cap as you go down mining levels?

Like, I know that in the cave level, the most I generally see is 50-55, so if I get my masonry that high, I generally am not hardcapping any stone. Does the second level go up to about 100? The third to.... 150? Less?

Q200 stones exist on L2. I've personally found Q167 stone and that's not considered particularly high. Quarryman lets you find a special stone randomly while mining that can go much higher quality.

what cap is first, from masonry or from tool ?

If im digging 80 stone, with 40 tool, i should get 60 stone

if i have only 60 masonry, will i get 60 as result, or 60::80 = 70 -> 70::40 = 55

your masonry is a HARD cap.
so if the stone is really 200 and your masonry is 80, then the stone is 80.
afterwards your tool quality is applied a sa softcap.
so in the above example if your axe is 40, the 80+40 = 60 the mined stone will be 60.
