Guano never respawns

Postby Soukuw » Mon May 18, 2026 4:10 pm

I have a Guano resource on a deep cave level, as far as I'm aware this cave system is NOT connected to anywhere out except my own mine hole... yet this guano never respawns? I've noticed it also with my Guano pile near my base on level 1 but I figured a bot or something was picking it up.

Why is this? Is there a bug? Is someone somehow teleporting or getting into my cave? Maybe I'll scout through my cave system again but I highly doubt anyones in it.

What level is this local resource located on?
Perhaps there's a one-tile passage somewhere that's hard to spot on the map.
You can check by setting a respawn timer and arriving early.

what timer does it give upon inspecting it? or do you mean the timer seems to run out and just not do anything and reset again?

guano takes forever, but if respawn time restarted then someone may tunneled in and map is not showing tunnel yet

X weeks per usual but I have checked it very shortly after it has respawned and I've been in this cave system for a long time now. (it's not on the new world) I believe it's currently on 5 weeks

If there's some kind of secret trickery than maybe but I also still would be extremely surprised if someone is camping my guano of all things. I also barely see anyone anymore, maybe once every couple IRL months.

You probably have to rediscover your surrounding areas to see which new base popped up.
Someone reached that mine level recently and you havent disovered the updated map tiles above ground or below ground.
Haven has a decent rotating player base so that is the most likely explanation.
