Farming seems weird.

Postby LaserSaysPew » Tue Sep 01, 2015 12:46 pm

So I got some carrot seeds, planted them one at a tile(had to manually divide them since if you take 5 at once and press Rmb you will place all 5 at one tile which I assume wastes 4 of them).
Some time passed and my precious carrots were ready to be harvested. The problem is I harvest only 1 carrot from each tile. No seeds, just the carrot(which I then can plant again). And planting it again kinda makes farming a bit pointless... Is it a bug? Am I doing something wrong?
Plant a seed, get one carrot, plant a carrot, get one carrot. Planting just for the purpose of planting? xD

Carrots have an early harvest stage for a single carrot, or did in version 1.0. You need to leave them longer. When they get white spots you should be able to harvest 2 seeds, and then past that you should get the 2 carrots you want.

You need five seeds to plant a tile. Seeds are now a substance, rather than single items. Carrot can be harvested in several stages. Let the finish growing to make a profit.

You shouldn't be able to.
