By can't play I'm assuming you mean you logged in? The account screen often seems to not get hours unless you log in.

selecting my character makes the screen flash black for a second and then go back to character selection

Alright and sadly that's literally as far as I can help :/ Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can come along. But good to get stupid questions out of the way first :)

I'm having a similar issue, my playtime numbers don't add up.

Accumulated playing time:
0 weeks, 2 days, 11 hours, 46 minutes, 44 seconds
Account status:
Verified account with 05:19:30 Play Time remaining

My account is verified. I have ~60 hours of accumulated playtime, but only ~5 hours remaining. So I'm missing 7 hours... and that's not taking into account the weekly refill I've probably received.

That is not a similar issue. Time played is calculated incorrectly. You have not lost any time.

You bought the verification on this forum account rather than the account you're actually playing on, which seems to be "Leadpainter" with a capital L. I moved the verification to the correct account for you.

I am on this account neverman4 and toon is NeverNever. Looks like the time from the "verify" didn't add that it just upped to the 24 hours (I would have guessed I would have been around 40+ or so and was 24 (or darn close) I think. So is it not really "adding" 24 or increasing it too 24? That was over a week ago so am not sure (sorry)

neverman4 - Verified account with 11:37:09 Play Time remaining (and was 7 before) did it just add?? and if so how did I go from 7 to 11?? I would have expected it to be 21 hours not 11??

A different non-verified account (IamKug toon Kug) is at 4.5 hours or so (or maybe I just did it at a bad time close to when I would have gotten the 7 hours anyway)... but it looks like I got some hours but not all.

IamKug - Free account with 04:53:46 Play Time remaining.

I hate to pester because the game is excellent, just feel like maybe the hours didn't load right. Also if I upgrade from $15 would it still be an additional $72 or is it $72-15??

Ty for answers as you get time.

What occasion are you talking about here? It was indeed over a week ago that you verified your account, and it had 24 hours added at that time; however, this Monday you had played enough for it to have been less than 14 remaining, at which time at was topped back up to 14. Since then, you appear to have played about 2.5 hours, so it would seem to make sense that there are about 11.5 hours left now.
