Do rocks regenerate?

Will rocks, if left in their smallest stage, regenerate and grow to larger stages again?

I don't believe so but that'd be easy enough to test.

I carried a whittled down one into my hermitage, I cannot lift it now. Also, 2 that I had whittled almost to nothing are back full size.

Sounds like when some part of the map is unoccupied or refreshes the stones get big again xD

Man I would be carrying rocks to my village for a while now if knew that. Loftar is this something that your going to fix or are you going to leave it? If it's true that is.
