Is there any way whatsoever to destroy a personal claim by hand?

You can use A > Y like anything else to be destroying this one. It will have 15 soak if it is still active, so you must have high strength statistic.

The problem is likely the claim shield, which I don't think you can damage without siege weapons. So once the shield is down, you probably can destroy the claim by hand, but getting the shield down is 99% of the work.

Battering Ram works too, but you have to be a bit closer to use it...

Yes. You can ram about 5 or 6 stamina bars till you have to pause for the rest of the hour since you're done damaging the shield.
