Cant fish!?

Hi,
I just discovered this game a few days ago and it is a lots of fun.

The problem I'm having is that I made a fully equipped fishing rod whit string, bait and hook on it
when I try to fish I get the message "you need a fully equipped fishing pole to fish".

I tried unequip it and redo it to no avail.

Long story short I cant fish despite having a bully equipped fishing pole.

Any help would be appreciated.

you need to apply a bait to the fishing pole, along with string and hook, maybe it's that.

Thank for the suggestions about the bait.
I thought I pointed out clearly in my original post that I put bait on the pole.

Said that because happens often that ppl forget to add the bait at the pole. Do you receive any message when clicking on the fishing icon?

Post a screenshot of your fishing pole - with the mouse hovering over it so the tooltip is visible.

We need more information, all we can really say is make sure your pole is actually fully equipped

This happens more often that you'd think. Sometimes the simpliest reason is the right one.

Aaaand there we go.

Unequip both your hand slots and equip the pole into your hands. Can't fish from your pocket, duh =)
