As seen in the trailer for Hafen, I know this was in W8, but why was it removed in this world? This is mostly just quality of life, but my god it would make it so much easier for those farming carrots, beetroots, onions, etc. Seeds I don't mind as much, since you can put them in a bucket, but it would still be really nice.

Okay, turns out I was a derpdumb and the way you do this is shift+rightclick on the plant or seed. This brings up the old options, just leftclick and drag on the ground like any other option.

Yup. just cut boards until the log is gone, then mess with making your stockpiles by mass collecting. Note only works for "loose" items that have been dropped, not for items that need harvesting, foraged, etc., and you only pick up that one item type if I recall right. (I've not had a need to pick up all my dropped inventory, so if I'm wrong, apologies.)
