Breaking a hearthfire

Postby FictionRyu » Fri Jun 10, 2016 9:04 pm

I tried looking on the wiki to try and figure out how to destroy a hearthfire that is not your own, but there's nothing for a Hafen fire, just the legacy Haven one. I knew how to break one back in legacy, but I don't know how to do it now. It's on my claim, full authority, and I go to destroy it, it tells me I'm not strong enough.

I know that's likely my issue right there..but, that being said, how much strength do I need? Back in Legacy, I used to be able to do it if I hacked away at it long enough and kept drinking up some water..

Try using axe/pick/sledge?

I was thinking about a pick..I have a regular stone axe, that doesn't work.

Ah. Yes. I suppose that's my issue with only 12 strength...
What are some good low-tier strength foods? The wiki is out-dated on that subject. Says pumpkin flesh, however now in-game they only serve for constitution..

Unless the wiki is wrong (very possible) rat-on-a-stick only serves up PSY..

The stuff vatas mentioned, plus grubs are alright too. You can use chestnuts, dog rose hips, blackcurrants and maybe walnuts for the variety bonus
Be advised that yellow feet are half INT, rat-on-a-stick is one-third PSY and walnuts are half PSY
If you have flour and eggs going meat pies are also an option, albeit almost half CON

I'll assume that's on the not so great wiki that is unfortunately the first result on google

I don't see the issue
Back when I played plenty of sprucecaps had a coop on their plot before they understood hunting, combat, FEPs or much of anything really
