Getting Rid of V-claim

I have been given a village as a gift. I have access to all the personal claims on it and all the master keys, but the village idol is still not owned by me. I cannot claim lawspeaker of the idol, and I cannot bash it because of the visitor debuff. The issue is I've been having some strange issues with bringing objects onto and off of the claim without it getting angry, and because I would like to have control over the village shield. How can I handle this situation and gain access to the village claim without ramming through my own walls?

Edit: I cannot do crim acts on the claim where I do not have a personal claim so the village still has auth. Shield is likely also still active. I am not a member of the village.

Are you able to perform actions otherwise deemed criminal on parts of village claim that don't intersect with personal claims that you own? Because if not then the village have not run out of authority, it's just that personal claims override village claim's retrictions.

In any way, if you don't want a destructive solution I can offer you a constructive one. Instead of demolishing your walls to det rid of Visitor, build a minehole. Entering it in and out should dissolve Visitor and you'll be able to bash the idol with wrecking ball or whatnot.

Instead of demolishing your walls to det rid of Visitor, build a minehole

I have a minehole already. Where do I go from here? Will I also have to bash and re-build all the banners?

If the minehole is on village's territory you can enter the village (gaining Visitor), enter Minehole (losing Visitor), leave minehole (not gaining visitor). Then you bash the idol. Without ramming through walls.
If the minehole is outside of village's claim or is walled/gated separately (which is a proper way to build one), you can either construct a new minehole (easier and faster way provided you have the resources) or destroy inner walls of existing minehole, then use it to dispose of visitor to wreck idol without exposing your base to outside (surface) attacks.

Could I create my hf beside the idol and then port to it after losing visitor?

If I create another idol with the exact same name, will I keep the territory under the banners?
