Someone locked me in (resolved)

I had a palisade built quite a distance from my growing claim. Not an outlandish distance, but enough room to expand.

I got all the gates in airlock-type builds and it seems while i had to be away for a while... someone placed locks. I haven't gotten ahold of my noob friends yet to see if someone was being really dumb... but i'm trapped. Is there a solution??

How do I get out?!

how old is the wall? less than a day you could bash it but if not, you're screwed

its been a few :/ i mean one gate wasn't done and someone finished it and locked it. which is why i think it might have been a noob friend... or someone REALLY spiteful.

try to destroy it if you can reach it. Soak doesnt reach 100% for 24 hours. If it's straight away you can break a pali at 10 str. Only other option is to get someone to bring a wrecking ball and wait 24 hours and have them break you out or get someone to build a ram and wait 4 hours. Thats IRL hours btw.

says i'm too weak to destroy. I have a friend who does trades headed this way, maybe he can break me out. Or it's actually one of my noob ppl who actually has a freaking key. one guy already said it wasn't him... just waiting for the other.

If worse comes to worse, is it possible for me to dig my way out? Like from a mine hole?

That is possible, but a wrecking ball is cheaper to construct compared to a minehole.

kind of a bad idea. If you make a mine hole and connect to a tunnel it creates a security nightmare unless you wall up down below. At least in legacy it was a night mare. Do they still have destroy HF and appear randomly in wilderness? I went corner to corner of this map in about 6 hours so may not be impossible. But again only way in at that point would be WB or Ram.

I'd have to have a minehole anyway... I haven't discovered anything but cast iron and only have one bar of it..

But if i have to resort to that i'll just have to relocate. because i know anyone would be able to get in at that point. and i'd still not be able to get in my palisade any other way. SUCH A HEADACHE. I should have just stayed on a little longer and locked them myself :/

Walling in the minehole (with Palisade) above ground should be enough these days.
