Pls Claim pole

Postby JeffChung » Mon Aug 08, 2016 2:50 am

I recently claimed some land and did a lot of hard work to build a house and pave and expand land and get curios but then i noticed something :

I couldnt pave under the claim pole! This is a massive thing to me because when i play a game its about how comfortable i am and not being able to pave under the pole makes me uncomfortable. My question is, is there any way i can pave under the pole without destroying it ? any answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to pave under a stationary structure after it's been built

You might have to remove it to get that coziness back

This is Haven. It makes you feel uncomfortable very often.
It'd be better if you start getting used to it earlier than later

This. You can't pave unless you can access the center of the tile*. Claim poles and certain other structures can only be build centered on the tile.

*Since you can potentially build off-center of the tile, I think you should be able to pave what may be an otherwise occupied tile by a building if the building was set off-center.

I'll also note that there is currently no need to pave unless you're on a biome that doesn't allow buildings on it (forest type biomes).

Devs should make claim poles walk thru like they were sometime in legacy.

Dammit ok, i guess ill just remove it and restart since i do have lots of curios ready :( . And yes, i did choose to build on a forest biome because of the wood and anthills.

Are you seriously considering this a relevant reason?
