So I am usually playing in and out on various worlds and I have never managed to reach past a stage where I am about to start taming and making cheese or making steel because I simply do not start playing when new world begins, I start when I feel like playing and year in year out its few weeks/month before a wipe which makes me really sad. I heard the owners have issues with cash to maintain the game, is there a chance I could purchase a copy of the game I could play with up to 3 friends on a lan server? I dont need rights to distribue, or to edit I just want to play the game at my own pace without fearing wipes.

When I play on private servers of world of warcraft and i donate I am aware one day I might wake up and the server might shut down, when i play on a game which is legally released and I am asked to subscribe I would like to receive something lasting even if its just in alpha stage. I could even repurchase the game everytime some major update comes out, but I am not paying knowing that I will not achieve all I would want to before the game gets wiped again.

I could but after playing for atleast 6-8h every day past month I have lost all will to continue for a while - probably for another couple months or a whole world even. Hence my question as its not the first time I am starting right before the wipe, if we have had approximate date of wipe from the begining then perhaps I would have planned it different, but they post notice a whole week before it which I find disrespectful. Now imagine I verified and bought sub like they advertise and bam no 28th i learn they are just gonna wipe it all.

You keep your verification and subscription, tokens and sketches can be transfered to the next world.

Wipes will most likely not be announced any earlier, the announcement is a little in advance (instead of 'world has been shut down for wipe' as in prior times) so you have time to login and stash your tokens and sketches into your HF move them to the next world.

I do understand they move on, but me like many others won't feel like starting over anytime soon and if I were to pay I would like to use up the money I invested on the current world. If you are asking for donations or any financial support then I believe you should show some kind of professional approach to your fanbase. While right now it feels like "welp we low on cash, gonna reset the world for the spare change people pay at the beggining when there is so many of you". Hence my question about possible purchase of the game copy which would allow me to play on ONE world I generate with few friends without worrying about wipes and such.

If they are in such dire need of cash for development sell the game like that and make patches into cheap dlc's. I am sure there will still be a lot of those who stick to the main server anyway.

Just buy a verifyed account and go play legacy with your freinds, there is nobodys here so its like a persistant lan, and you dont pay monthy fees.
