B12 or Hirdsman sword

Postby blank » Tue Apr 25, 2017 2:21 pm

So i was just basically getting people ideas on which they though was better for pvp/hunting animals with mc/ua
From what iv'e gatherd the B12 is mainly used for UA specialists and sword is for mc. now the question is which is better?? the axe hits harder but slower.

Generally speaking, KOing an animal instantly through its run is better than having to chase them down. If you can make a really good B12, it's probably better due to that.

b12 is better if you don't intend to use parry. Sword is useful for parry. end of story

what maneuver would be best with axe then? and is it still viable to put points in mc even if you use axe with Oak stance or something?

shield up is actually pretty good. 250% compared to any other maneuver. im just having trouble trying to figure out the best manuever for the b12. i have more mc that ua so i dont really wann have to use a ua manuever if i dont have too.. but all other are shit

No, shield up is dogshit. It doesn't make things do 250% less openings on you, it just makes your defense weight as if you had 250% of your melee combat. Combined with the 4th root on combat stats, and no other effect - it's utter dog shit, just use Parry or any of the useful manuevers with effects.

Parry is the only useful melee combat manuever, UA has plenty of useful ones
