Big Game Hunting

What is this 'cheese' technique I've seen referenced that means 30/30 Agi/UA (which I now have) is enough to fight Moose and Bears and stuff?

(Also, why is there no Rocky Rookworst made with Moose and Squirrel?)

Fight them from a boat or a horse. Whenever you need to regen defenses, either run away with the horse or back off into deep water with the boat.

Oh, sorry you're completely right. Horse cheese only works for animals a horse can outrun (deer/boar are the ones that kinda need it). Moose and Bear can outrun it often.

Good catch nooby.

Nah you can easily outrun bears with horses, or you could at least. But Bears now use rawhide lol

cheese in general is a term in video games about an unusual and witty technique to achieve something, mostly used in games like starcraft to describe when an opponent is doing something fucking crazy.

In hafen combat it might describe more than one thing, but it would usually be something that stops animals
from being able to attack you while you lower openings or give you another general advantage in combat.
The most common thing people use is hunting from a boat, hunting from above a cliff (bows are great for
this, used to be extremely strong for animals but now people don't really do marksmanship anymore) using a horse,
or going into and out of a cave/house/etc.

Either way regardless of your tactic you should always try to find out what skills the animal you're hunting uses.

Also I think some people just get a sword and use chop, or some other strong dmg dealer.

What does rawhide do? Dismount? Kinda surprised about bears, I thought they were sprint speed normally so I figured you'd run into one that goes faster then sprint occasionally.

I think it stuns your horse and doesn't let you get off (only from watching videos, haven't seen it myself), which sounds really scary while fighting a bear..

It does this, yes.
