As a hermit or someone that plays rarely with another person do I need a village... Are there any benifits and if so can I support the upkeep solo?

It's cheaper to claim territory with than with personal claim, and upkeep is easy.

Also if you're by yourself and have periods of inactivity that sometimes are above 24 hours, you can find yourself in a nasty situation if someone tries to troll you by claiming over/around you and letting a palissade dry around your walls. Already having a village claim there of course protects you from being claimed over.

You don't need a village.

But realms are actually useful, if you know your local realm keepers, let them put a realm stone near your settlement

so I created a village yesterday and haven't played in a day and now my village is down to 7k authority what am I doing wrong? seems authority is draining faster then i can gain it?

takes time to fill up, keep your Study Table busy

if you have alts, invite them to join village too so they also contribute to authority, I think

now im down to 5k since last post.... no its not filling up its draining.... how much lp per hour do i need to be gaining to sustain a village... everyones telling me its no problem solo? but i cant even gain lp fast enough
