viewtopic.php?f=42&t=51565n should contain the information you need.

A, yes, unless you move away to heal up your openings in between engagements they might knock you out. When knocked out, just go away and heal up for a few hours/days and you will at least not die.

B, pretty much same as A, except that maybe you should avoid faster creatures until you have a horse. Stick to fighting Ants until you can do that without taking more then 1-10 damage. Alternativly g into caves and fight bats (recommended stats are about 25 UA and 25 AGI for a non armored begginner player).

C, I don't thin everything is killing you, this should just simply not be true.

D, To avoid dying to ants, follow A and also; as the ant hits you there will be a greenbox popping up in the combat interface with a number in it. This means the ant created an opening in your defence. An opening is a % of how much future damage will go trough as an attacker is trying to kill you.
This means you want to keep your own openings low and the opponents oppening high. For now, when the ant attacks you -walk away and use quickdodge (for green opening) and sidestep (for blue opening) until your own opening is below 10. Then use a punch and your char should walk over to the ant and punch it.
As the punch ges out the middle cicrlce will have a pink timer popping up (cooldown timer) and on the ants side of the same circle a green card with an opening made to the ant should pop up. Quickly move away and heal up what ever oppening the ant made to you, until you are back to having openings lower then 10. Repeat until ant is dead. At low stats this will take a long time.

D, I beilive they play it using computers, java, the internet.

E, A good way is to simply try things out if you do not like to read, and when you get stuck then go to the wiki. this saves some of the reading at least.

F, The player count does fluctuate a bit but is, according to latest read, actually on the rise. The game is not beeing marketed at this point in time however and the low player count will be benificial to you as a begginer as the chance of getting PK'd will be much lower.

G, Why what?

Gl and cheer mate.

Or at least cocks. Seriously, those things are nasty in real life.

I mean, there's always minecwaft
“We still, alas, cannot forestall it-
This dreadful ailment's heavy toll;
The spleen is what the English call it,
We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

You can still call yourself a hardcore gamer playing haven if the entry to combat doesn't consist of going on wiki or asking on forums.

it was the best:
D, I beilive they play it using computers, java, the internet.
:)))

Anyone understand this system without reading wiki and forums??
And i want to say that many players are leaving game because of that...

Honestly I feel like the character creation area should have some sort of fighting tutorial. Have it as like a "proving" area before the wizard area where you fight an AI hearthling, only the fight is super slow, impossible to lose and basically teaches the new player the basics of the combat system. Just teaching them about openings and how to use them.

Edit: Also it might be an idea to give them some extra moves for the fight to teach them about initiative points.
