[ANSWERED]Shoot a Bulls-eye?

I have a quest to shoot a bull's eye. Not only can I not hit the BE, I can't even hit the damned target. Always to the left by about 15 degrees. Q69 arrows, Q240 bow, MM106.

Is this just a number's game? It looks like I basically will never be able to even hit the target. I put another target beside it. That at least stops the arrows, but they don't connect and give a score...


EDIT: The solution is to stand point-blank and just spam shitty arrows, not even waiting for the aim bar to fill up.

Do you use amber client ? You can activate the line of sight when shooting a bow, I personally had this quest twice, and did it first shot and 3rd shot with 30MA 140q arrow and 80q bow. I havn't tried shooting it from super close range, could maybe work ?

If you mean show arrow vectors, I have that set yes, I get a line directly through the target. Up close I can consistently get +2 and +3, but that's it. Don't know how you got it in one with a third my everything relevant. I'm clearly doing something wrong.

Point blank I can get +1s. With a Q226 bone arrow I could get a +5 now and again. I call shenanigans.

I've done it with 1 mm alts a bunch. Just stand up right next to it and fire a bunch right into it.

Point blank doesn't count.

One thing to remember is that aiming (unless using the character portrait while in combat) is to the location you clicked on the ground, not any object you think you'll click.

I've done the credo a couple times and I'm pretty sure I just stood up next to it. I even had the inventory window open so I could spam shoot and scroll the arrows back out.

I also spammed from point blank (where I stood after dropping the target) and it worked fine.

I might confuse this with the minimum range limitation of the split arrow curio, which existed somewhen before they nerfed archery into me no longer using it...

Maybe you arent worthy archer to complete the quest. Better just abandon it.
