Cannot for the life of me raise Agi

Postby Mews » Fri Dec 07, 2018 11:06 pm

Agi is mostly stuck at 11, 13 without injuries, the only thing i can fight are Ants, most fights with them take about 30hp from me and on top of the openings i can't fight another one until i heal up (then usually another ant has spawned). I've been hunting rabbits for Agi food but can't ever seem to get it to raise, something else always comes first. So what can i do to raise my Agi?

I'd advise to start farming and animal husbandry: crops and milk will provide much more options for agi food than a wildgrub itself. Otherwise you may try chewing some ants, chives, eel, frog legs and roasted grasshoppers
Also a table with proper symbel is crucial for stat gaining

if you want a specific attribute you should eat food that only gives that single attribute not also psy/str/int/etc etc

helpful fep table http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/FEP_Table
bats are also better to fight early game than ants because bats cant hit through armor ants can.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

Unless taming was changed to be much easier than before, taming (and milking) is out of the question for me right now.
also i am in the process of waiting for my leather to finish and when it does i am going to be making leather armor, would having leather armor help with taming or damage less damage right now?

You can always collect milk from aurochs by feeding them a clover and then using a bucket. It won't be helpful for cheesemaking (generic gouda only IIRC), but there may be other recipes.

For early agility, rabbits are good, a couple of the ants, some fish, and a couple versions of the fruit and nut bakes you can make in the fireplace. It's not an easy stat early on, but not one of the harder ones. You may just be getting bad RNG.

If you're going to fight, YES! Use any armor you can get. It'll help greatly (just note the above about ants).

You should get some farming up to bake Honeybuns and eventually Ring of Brodgar (baking).

In beginning its hard to get stats especially if you play alone. Easiest way i would say - farming and cooking.
Often you can find abandoned places where you can harvest quiet good quality crops, and thats gonna be good boost for you.
Also i see you live not that far away from me (but still there is a bit distance), if you want i can help you with seeds, basic tools, animals. Just send me pm if you interested.

You can easily find abandoned farms all over the world, get wheat, barley and poppy seed.
if you wanna play true to yourself and not depend on left over resources I suggest making an extra character specific for fighting instead. For me it sounds like you have messed up your stats by increasing one too much, the only cure for this is better food/table or making a new character that is more balanced. Another plus on having another character is that you less over feed your character, sins you distribute the work, so your hunger will give you 300% stats from food.

Creating second/extra character for fighting also makes it less devastating if you get badly hurt or even killed.
