How to catch Cave Sculpin?

Hello my dudes! I keep trying to catch these little fishies but still no luck. I tryed 2 lakes and 4 rivers, various lures and baits, used 2 nets - got alot of Cavelacanth and Pale Ghostfish but not a single Cave Sculpin Is it a bad luck or i doing something wrong?

Yea, i know. But which lure/bait i need to use to catch em?

You have to use woodfish lure. Also you need to find spot where fish are jumping out from water. It can take a bit time before you gonna find the right spot.
Other option, if you not in hurry - just put fishing nets in spots, where fish jumps, and check them after some days. Fish catched in nets also counts as catched with rod.

Thanks! Yea looks like i still have not found right spot. These spots are static? because river at my basement L3 produce only 2 kind or fishies 5 real days in a row.

Hard to say, but it can be at some point it changes, for example i had to catch peal ghostfish (or how it was the name), so was looking for the right spot 3 or 4 days, and found only 2 places with 3% chance. After few days had to catch same fish again, and only in one spot out of those two was with this fish in it.

time of day 100% effects fish, there are certain fish that are much better caught during the night and vice versa.

It certainly used to. Used to be (legacy), you could only catch eel reliably during a full moon. (or was it new?) I'd catch a few large chests of them on those days.

What time of day do you catch the sculpin at? I need it for a creedo but even with the fish jumping and the woodfish i still have 0% as a catch chance.
