Localized Resources in Village

how does that work now ?

can you have a Clay Pit, Heart of the Woods, mussel or any other resource within your village and make sure it is yours exclusively ?
if someone takes it will he leave a scent or can anyone take it ?
I know that you cannot personal claim it but not sure how does village claim works on that

update:

I get the part that you can claim it,
what I don't get is how much of the authority does it drain
with 2-2.5k lp/h income my authority is dropping for almost 1k/h ( its below 15k and people are able to take stuff ),
I don't know if that is intended in new word to prevent claiming natural resources or is there something i miss or I do wrong

Yes you can, just need to make sure you claim it with the village, wall it and maintain the auth of the village. IIRC it increases the auth maintenance cost though.

Can't you? I'm pretty sure I saw several clay pits that were walled and pclaimed without a village nearby

You saw a part of wall being claimed, not whole resource which itself isn't claimed and can be take by anyone. P claim only protect a part of wall so it can't be bashed completely and sometimes storage inside it is safe as well.

What part of "localized resources can't be claimed by personal claim" You don't understand? It's V-claim only + increased cost for reach.

Pit clay was almost useless in W10, W11 it is not. (potter clay of W10 was superior, now cave/pit clay is more worth).

thanks, would you know what is that drain now ? it seems that it drains me like 1k/h ( my lp income is close to 1k/h, have 2 alts on 500/h ) and it still goes to 1k/h negative ( looks like I will have to move my village claim by 50 squares later, this drain is incredibly huge

well if you cant claim it with private claim its pretty obvious you can claim it only with village claim mate. theres is literally no other claims

thanks Lyrroth, but in village claim there is Authority factor that I wasn't aware of, and that seems to be my problem now. it just drops down in strange way, on W10 I had same resource claimed and I was on full Authority all the time, even with 2 extra banners, now I cant keep the "safe" threshold
