How to hand bash pali?

I am really strong I thought but I still can't do it with a pickaxe.. does anyone know what you need to handbash?

I know sledgehammer is better but I wanna know if it's worth it first.

If the palisade is on claimed land you must use a siege engine or wrecking ball. If it is on unclaimed land you can hand bash it.

With a decent STR set, 289 strength isn't very much..

You only need ~145 strength on your character..

That's like 2 weeks real time, assuming you don't have cheese production already started.

Thats not a lot of str at all. Especially if you have pigs and pepper.

Didn't the patch notes say that pali soak was lowered? Did that change get lobstered?
