WWW cant find

Hi,
I've read how to get wheat, and other forum threads says I need WWW but I can't find even one. I have 13 exploration and 26 perc but still can't find any of these.
Where I should look?

There are wild crops you can harvest, straw and flour have been available since day 1 this world.

Unless they're a spring forageable now. Or we have to wait a season for wildcrops we've planted to start creating WWWs.

My completely unverified theory is that since wild crops seem to be the intended way to initially gain crops, WWW's are now focused on their catch-up mechanic and that implies some sort of mechanism (yearly check for crops? something based on a pool of already existing crops?) that makes them impossible to get right now.

Surely The Devs would not completely change a core mechanic of the game and completely scrap the previous system with no announcement? Right?
