Coal is considered to be a stone. That's why there was a post with coal rocks being dug out of a cellar amusingly.

As to why lordrio wasn't pointed to the ore deposit a few steps away - I have no idea. Maybe quality has something to do with it, or maybe some skills


My bad, tested with a 15,16,10 rustroot extract now shows the pointer :D Was using 10,10,10 before.

The range is short tho :( not sure which quality (or average of all 3) is it using for the range.

tried quality 13,13, 15 roughly rustroot extract, was right beside an ore vain i was previously mining in, gave no arrow, no indicator, never even said there was anything near me

Rustroot Extract always checks one layer below you, please repeat your experiment one level above the ore vein you just mined previously (given that you didn't deplete it).
