Yeah, he's changed his mind on the online/offline healing. As for other parts, no commitment yet on if/when it is added.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

It should be noted that the more seperate wounds you have, the faster they will heal.

For Example:

You walk and get aggro'd by a bear. As you're running away a massive lag spike happens and you get KO'd by the bear who helps himself to a few chunks of your body before leaving you. You look at your Health & Wounds page and see the following:

25 Nicks & Knacks <--- Heals slowly over time
5 Bruises <--- Heals slowly over time
15 Deep Cuts <--- Treat With Poultice
10 Fell Slashes <--- RIP Permanent damage

The above will heal MUCH slower since they are all giant stacks of wounds. The Fell Slashes = your screwed since you cant heal those. Everything else though is able to be treated/healed.

The Following has the same number of wounds, but spread out.

25 Nicks & Knacks <--- Heals slowly over time
5 Bruises <--- Heals slowly over time
3 Deep Cuts <--- Treat With Poultice
3 Deep Cuts <--- Treat With Poultice
3 Deep Cuts <--- Treat With Poultice
3 Deep Cuts <--- Treat With Poultice
3 Deep Cuts <--- Treat With Poultice
10 Fell Slashes

You can treat the 5 different groups of Deep Cuts seperatlely which will tick down faster overall since you only have to deal with 3 ticks. compared to the 15 ticks.

The top way is easier on resources since you only treat 1 thing, but is much slower in comparison.

Fell Slashes can be healed with a Gauze
