My observation is that curios get the amount of LP from the average value of the 3 quality stats. Saw it on boar tusks of different quality level and type.

Can post proof if needed.

Please, if you can post mathematical proof of a formula, do so. This discussion has already come up and it's not an arithmetic mean, and it is not a geometric mean, either. Curio quality discussion: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=41444

It's probably best to keep this thread to food discussion as that is what it started on. I linked one on figuring out curios, and one for gear would be good, I think. The conversations may overlap too much, otherwise. Splitting out the gear discussion from this thread to it's own: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=42039

After looking int this more deeply, I have to say I was wrong. You can check out my answer in the mentioned thread. I've tried to get a consistent result but without success. I'll give it another try tomorrow.

Certainly not at lowbie levels unless you go near the dreaded bolete.

What's causing that issue for you? I've only gotten mine below 90% very rarely.

Perhaps eating to many of the same food?

Later on, variety won't be as possible to get a single point, so you do have to start eating the same or similar foods. The satiation penalties can get to be a huge pain in trying to level up, especially if you're eating all the time and can't stay better than the 100% hunger modifier.

To note: Satiation doesn't all go away when you get an FEP event, and that's intentional. I'd have to dig the post from jorb up to check the values that get removed or lessened.

Highest penalty vanishes, 50% of the next two are reduced, no effect on satiations after that.

And I agree later on, but in early-mid game satiation is very trivial if you're not eating piles of berries off wild bushes.

According to that the satiation is the same even with different essence, substance and vitality (could be that this is just to low quality to tell)

But you can clearly see that vitality effects FEP gain and substance reduces fullness from eating..

cant see Essence doing anything :?:

Essence lowered satiation, look closer - first pic has 2% satiation, other have 3%

That's also a really really slim margin to be testing on Apil, for small numbers without decimal points you usually want much higher to make it visible.

The interesting note is that it only seems to have lowered the main satiation (aka the one the food also uses when eaten) and not the secondary satiation (an unrelated good group that gets a penalty).
