Hey Jorby another question, I built a Tar Kiln with 38 avg clay, 14 ql avg stone. I loaded with 10 ql logs and received 10 ql coal. So do the blocks you load in hardcap the ql of coal?

Also does it save the data of ql loaded and burnt, like beehives in W7?
Ohhh that's how I make a sig, cool

You're answer is here: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=42380&hilit=kiln+block+quality&start=10#p556143. Tar Kilns softcap only. (How badly you want to raise coal quality will dictate how quickly you tear down your old tar kilns.)

And no, it works like all the other kilns and furnaces. Beehives were unique in that regard, mostly because hives are a living system.
