Actually deep cuts can stack. I had a deep cut turn into a fell slash (which going off rootfill is actually the next "tier" of cut so to speak).

I just mean to make it so it's easier to heal. Honestly, 17 wounds made by running into things or running away from things for the most part, not counting the fel slashes or cruel incisions I already healed, or the deep cuts I healed already for that matter - is quite a lot. Was hoping the streaming process could be streamlined a bit, I read good things about gauze in h&h1 but since it works differently here, maybe a different way to heal your max hhp over time similar to how gauze worked?

You shouldn't have let the wounds stack up is the honest answer. And no, you *really* don't want them amalgamating into a single wound. If all that HHP had gone into one wound, it would have upgraded in severity badly. Possibly to unhealable or major scarring (when scarring is introduced, perma HHP damage like wretched gore does now).

This healing system isn't going to get easier than it is now.

Definitely not.

Damn, that was a scary system then ^^ Will try to heal them as they come then, not as easy when you have nothing really but I guess the later we get into the game the easier it would be.

Better to screw and die early on to test your metal, then die 1-2 months in and ragequit because of it imo. Haven's a rough game.

I kinda like it, it teaches you to pay attention in battle if you don't want to collect 50 stinging nettles every single day.

I'm much more cautious when hunting as well.

I got 42 wretched gore from walking into a cave and being attacked by 3 bats before I knew what happened. I was told those can't be healed which I think is totally unfair since I did nothing to bother the bats

Bats (and all middling aggressive animals) are sensitive to your movement speed. Crawl/walk makes them less aggressive, but they'll attack you ~5-10 tiles away if you're running quite often.
