Their red attacks require ip. As long as you don't let the fight drag on, they won't get the chance to use their red attacks.

I never noticed they had a red attack

Is there any chance you know what attack types bears have too?

My guess is all the types. And 1 hit 4 types enraged. Just a guess tho.
Anyway, doesn't matter since they can't swim, jump over cliffs and they even lost an ability to destroy boats/construction posts.
