So how does one join a village?

Meet the village's lawspeaker or someone who has the authority to oath a new member in. You have to be able to see each other.

It doesn't *cost* anything to maintain a village claim, whereas for a pclaim it costs a slot in your mentory.

You have to be gaining lp to keep the authority up, but its really easy to gain enough for that, if you're actively playing.

a bit more then pclaim but small enough that 1 person can maintain a village. I saw it tick at 200 or 2000. too fast for me to see, but its very reasonable for 1 person to handle the vclaim. started at 30k now at 80k after 3 days, and I just learn curio at normal rate at 35 int.

I was maintaining a 1M auth village by myself during w5 before it got wiped with the crash. Of course, I think I had about 100-120 INT unbuffed and about 60 CHA. I realize the LP gains aren't as crazy as they were then, and not sure that INT and CHA boost authority gains now, but one person should be able to maintain a 200x200 village without an issue.
