This appears to be incorrect, as my Con is 17 whilst my leech's vitality continues on up to 19. (17 from nettle clothing, but still.)

My dexterity is 19, however, and my strength is 13. So far I have about a dozen 17/17/19 leeches.

Didn't someone post some information about mining rates here recently and I figured it wasn't the root mean square (RMS) of the values, but was one specific value. (could have been essence or vitality if I recall right, as substance was 10 for both axes used.)

It's definitely 100% not substance.

12/14/14 could mine a wall, but 10/14/10 could not mine the same wall.
