Looks like the 'wald' biome. I've seen that natively a couple of times.
I'm not sure if there's really any rare biomes. There's just a larger diversity now, so you'll have to walk further to find different ones.

All but pinebarren are mixed type forests, so it is really hard to tell what biome a specific tree really "likes" so far. Pine, Yew, and Spruce spawn wold for me as well, when I would have guessed they would have preferred pinebarren (the mostly conifer forest type).
