99% sure it was specifically stated "beehive Q is meaningless right now, we let hives have quality just in case we change their implementation in the future" when this last came up.

So I've tried everything I could find on the subject. I tried spacing the beehives out, I tried using a variety of crops around them, I've had them set up for over 24 real-life hours and they haven't given me a single unit of bees wax.

Here's a screen shot of my current set up (it's a work in progress), can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I think it's still sped up, I can't give you any proof but I remember one half of my barley fields being a stage ahead of the other when it was half covered by a skep

Crow stage growth is random within a range, so it is quite possible that you have half a field ready for harvest, another half still a day behind with slower growing crops.

Well, I've read all the replies and I'm doing everything I'm supposed to.

No wax from barley/hemp? I have other crops planted.
It needs 60 ticks/1 crop stage to produce wax? I've planted, grown and harvested beetroots, carrots, poppies and onions several times over. STILL no bees wax.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. They're making plenty of honey, but that's it.

You need alot more fast growing crop I think, I've been consistently making wax on all my hive every 24-48 hours or so (Depending if its final growth or not).

I'm guessing you need to use almost all of the ticks of a bee hive per day which is 144 (+50 if new) nobody knows really the exact number, but I always get around 0.7 liter of honey when I can get wax.

What I observed is planting doesnt count as a growth tick, and final stage doesnt seem to add to growth tick also. (growth tick = adding honey to hive)

I FINALLY GOT SOME BEES WAX!!! Thanks for your help, everyone. I guess I just need more carrots and beetroots.
