This matches my limited understanding of the process so far. I think what baffles me is how anyone can attempt to map a chart given the fact that things move so quickly.

I record first, later I watch and take notes, and later I merge/clean charts.

Well, I got a nearly full zander and perch map, but I've been super busy the past weeks

Clarify something for me--are the maps actually physically laid out the way they appear to be?

i.e. if you click left, up, right, then down, would you end up where you started?

No, it's more like a flowchart/graph. Some messages actually loop, like, some of the "it shifts" messages will go again to "it shifts" if you press left.

So is it a flow chart that you do to get to the end of the flow to get the fish at lowest possible move? or there is no end, just things that increase/decrease fishing points?

Theres no end, you can find a "route" that increses points more than it decreases, and consistently fish it.
