I, and a newbie I took in, also had to look for stone for hours.
They really need to code it so that you always spawn in an area with stone.
Where are stones?

Known issue.
I have suggested that they would add forageable stones so newbies could make stone axes etc. no matter if theres boulder left in start area or not.
