Deep artifice?

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I'm really mad with Deep Artifice.

I've got smelters with 7 or 8 cast Iron before it. Now my best smelter only granted me 3, when not 0.
I had like 3 bloom and 6 slag per finery forge. Now I get like only 1 or 2.
And pretty much 50% turn into Wrought.

I'm getting like 1 wrought every 150~ ores, roughly. That's insane, I had better ratios before spending 150k on that skill lol

But yeah... reading the posts here... I guess RNGs are just not on my side recently lol

I was getting 2-3 iron bars before DA. I'm now getting 5-6. I haven't gotten into Wrought yet, still stockpiling iron.

I don't personally own it but our miners say that out of 15 blooms, we get almost always 15 wrought iron. Normally I'd call bull shit but we have 100+ wrought within a couple of days.

Also about 1/2 - 2/3 of smelt comes out as iron. They were mining iron ochres.

J&L, please buff Deep Artifice. It's a bucketload of LP for more casual players (like myself) and It looks like my output was better before it lol.

I think your problem is not getting to the bloom fast enough. It seems to decay into slag if you leave it.

Hmmm, don't think that could be true... I usually stockpile iron and then go for fast, not AFK finery forge sessions. I even hold 9 bars in my bag so I can take the 9 bloom/slag and put the iron in before hammering to make things more efficient... so I'm 100% sure I'm not allowing them to decay because I'm using them as soon as they turn.

In fact, I didn't even know they could decay

Anyway, I suppose RNGesus has heard me and granted me these two different moments after my complaints



I know that's not much... but I've never seen 9x bloom so I was really happy
And I'm aware my iron quality sucks, that's going to be a brickwall though

(and for anyone wondering, most of them turned into wrought so - yes - these 18 bars got me like twice the amount of wrought iron 100 cast iron bars gave me earlier today. Seems balanced lol)
