Is Cleave supposed to be this rare?

You can use cleave with swords too, don't need to have b12. As i said somewhere else, i got it using punch/chop/take aim/quick dodge, and with hirdsman's sword equipped. The animal was probably a bat.
Also, i still didn't get a shield up :<

Maybe the problem is I have shield up in my deck then...? And its weird that you didnt get shield up i got it 3 times the first night, but I guess it goes to show we dont understand the system :p

I've noticed using a B12 with Chop offers Cleave very often, especially against lynx's, Bears, and Moose.

I had a sword and a shield, a deck with: think, take aim, chop, punch and shield up.
So it should be possible to get it with same gear/deck, you could add more defense though.

I got cleave against a bear, used shield up and think+take aim until I got enough IP (cleave is 5+2 IP)
Always aggro animals and get your ip up, pray...
