Most, if not all, did in previous worlds. I can't recall if they still do or not.

Doesn't leather take like 30 hours? I know it more than 8 hours. Drying is about 8 hours yes but I had hides in leather process thing for over two days before they were complete

Wiki says 8. I'm assuming the article is up to date as it wasn't tagged as Legacy. At worst, it's 16. I do recall my leather being done the next day when I logged back in. Bear hides do still take longer to dry at 16 if I recall right. I'll admit I only played for a couple months as I fully expected this world to only be a few months to live at best, so I didn't spend enough time with a few of these time based mechanics to cement schedules into my brain. Other than crops, I really didn't see any changes to times, though.

It took me a good 32 hours to have a single bear skin dried, and definitely not 8 hours to tan hides. They're 32 hours-ish as well based on my experience.

some checks i did today came out at 29.4h, so yeah it's probably 30ish. the time is correct on the tanning tub page so someone probably just forgot to edit it from the legacy page.

I was looking at the Leather page. Pardon my mistake, then. I'm updating that page to direct to the tanning tub for directions since it's the most accurate. I might put a #todo on the talk page to move the detailed process to the leather page as it's really the target of the operation, not the tanning tub. (nerdcat saiz: Logical organization are hard)

i dont get that guide. Why do i need clogs or cup? does the amount of water i can store rly matter at start?

First thing would be to explain that crafting is made avaible through discovering means finding items.
First: you should get 1 branch rightclick on tree.

Second : stone means digging on stone soil or mining boulders.

Now you should be able to craft an axe. Stone axe is your most basic tool.

Somebody should explain for what you need water. Drinking water replenishes stamina but reduces energy. Energy is gained trough eating. High energy lets you heal low energie damages you.

You need to increase your exploration too make all forageable objects around you visible. The first are Taproots by Exploration 3.
Taproots are Strings and enable you to craft a backpack when you have found birch bark ( White tree).

2cond most basic tool Bone saw. For that you need bone .... Bones you can get from Animals. The for new ppl interesting are Squirrel, Chicken and Rabbit. Just richtclick on them and your char tries to catch one. Careful Squirrel and Rabbit tries to escape.
When you have catched 1 probable a squirrel because they are plentiful and relativ easy to kill just wring there neck and first skin then butcher them.

Antaraner has really good points.

-Clogs are purely cosmetic as far as I know.
-Amount of water you need early is probably quite low since you can't burn energy too freely when you're relying on berries to recover it.

You need water if you want to run fast but since people can't aggro and kill you at the first days and world is smaller you need to run less.
