The condition is have enough IP and a weapon that chops (like an axe). Likewise, all other condition based moves are the same, be in a scenario where you could use the move, i.e have a shield, get 7 ip, etc. Discoveries also seem to vary by animals, but that isn't the issue here.

Chop can usually come from boars
Storm of swords usually comes from bats
Sting requires a spear equipped (maybe a sword too bit less likely) and boar or higher for best results
