Equip shovel, then use "destroy" command.

Well, both of my friends now died - but were not able to figure out how to use that wilderness beacon.

Can someone please write a small guideline?

One of you builds the wildernes beacon, then you interact with becaon (forgot if leftclick or rightclick), you there write a name.

Then a friend enters character creation and before clicking the "fire" to spawn into the world, they should click on a special skull/runestone nearby and write the code there. That will light up the stone/bone, and then you use the "fire" as normally. This will spawn your friend at the wilderness beacon and destroy it.

Well - everything worked good. Till now.
Build houses...everything. A player in armor and sword appeared, a second player.. and tell us to leave, kill us and say "move or we come back tomorrow".

EDIT: How can I heal myself?!
Okay well.. cant heal - looked my injuries up, have no metal - nothing.
Thats sad.

This is a pretty instructive thread, I wish the devs could read and pay attention to this. It shows many of the problems new players have with the game, including concepts we're familiar with but which aren't obvious for people who don't read the forum.

Without that "getting started" thread here and the many answers in this thread we would now be offline with "total frustration".
Hope the coming days will be better - we traveled now over 3 hours straight in one direction, we want now a place to really build a few houses ..

It may be worth posting in the Dwarves & theves to see if there is a nice village you can settle by that can help you with the ropes.

There is a lot to learn in H&H, glad to see you are giving it a go.

How can i kill a player? need a fast answer...

some derp stands there and destroys everything we build now - we cant attack him...

He wears a boat on his head.. and destroyed our claim and a house till now.

Everyone of my friends ragequitted now (we are all together in teamspeak)... great -.-

Logged back in, took our boat and walked away.. no one of us understood why we were not able to attack him. We used bows..axe.. we couldn't attack him.

Because my boyfriend asked - how was that guy able to find us? We were at one edge of the world, in the middle of nothing.
