What answer where you expecting?

if you read i said i know how to make a boat already but that should have unlocked the knarr but didnt and also i can already make the other materials for it... so wtf
also i discovered most of everything needed to discover for it

when new stuff is added you sometimes need to rediscover things that make it.

The same with any other constructable item/building in the game. You need to discover each of the component items in order to be able to build it.

In this circumstance: Rope , Cloth , Tarstick , Bar of Common Metal , Bone Glue , Board , Block of Wood.

You may not have got linen/cloth or metals.

Discovering MOST is not discovering all.. is it?

when can we make them and what skills do i need to unlock it i can already make a boat but i dont see the knarr listed in vehicles

i'm not going to write it out every time someone asks. check the wiki first for answers, then ask here if you have more questions.

yes you said you can make a boat, i assumed you were talking about a rowboat. check the recipe carefully, you're probably missing something.

The same with any other constructable item/building in the game. You need to discover each of the component items in order to be able to build it.

when i said most i meant i can make cloth and everything else listed there but i have not yet made rope from hemp or flax only from roots or nettle etc. maybe i have to try all ways of doing it...

As long as you have discovered the items... the method of construction or the component items makes no difference. Rope is rope.

Somebody did mention above, sometimes you may need to rediscover items to get the new building/item

this character has been created relatively after that update was implemented

ahh no, you need to have made at least one of everything on the list, not just have the option to make them (that's what people mean by discovering it).

ahh no, you need to have made at least one of everything on the list, not just have the option to make them (that's what people mean by discovering it).

Have you actually made cloth, boneglue and tarsticks? Cloth is cloth, can be wool cloth, plant fibre cloth or even silk cloth, same for ropes.
