Thanks for that short video. I hadn't ever paid that attention that closely as to the distance you stand. Color me very impressed to the attention to the detail. (I hope jorbtar don't nerf this.)

Make sure they're built in the right direction (the build sign faces towards the tile that you want to harvest from). Planting works the same way. I've also been told that you can fit 5 on a tile, but haven't tried it myself.

I think if you can have a posting of this on the viewtopic.php?f=42&t=42482 thread, it can be a great service for the people. Thanks to you I will be using this trick.

You can plant on the trellises in the same way you harvest from them, just reversed. For peas and such that disappear when harvesting, you can simply replant. For things like grapes and pepper, you'll need to destroy the trellis if you want to replant, because the vine simply continues to grow after harvesting. So, if you're trying to be super efficient you should plant peas on the 3 inner rows and grapes/pepper on the outermost row, so you can destroy the trellis to replant.

Can you destroy the plant on the backer trellis? Or just the frontest one?

I use carrots and gathering on 4th stage (seeds) coz it takes much less time to replant/gather
